The daily co-insurance for days 61-90 increased from $371 per day in 2021 to $389 per day in 2022. In addition, the lifetime reserve days which run from days 91-150 rose from $742 per day in 2021 to $778 per day in 2022. The standard Medicare Part B premium had a larger increase from $148.50 per month in 2021 to $170.10 per month in 2022. It is currently being projected that the Part B premium will possibly reduce in 2023 due to less than anticipated usage of the new Alzheimer’s prescription recently released.
