What aspect of the healthcare industry do you want to fix?  I wish providers would stop pushing medication on patients and start looking for the root cause of their health issues.  Medication is 100% necessary for a lot of situations. Reviewing and modifying a person’s diet, exercise and lifestyle would be a healthier, more natural remedy to many common health issues.

What do you do at Senior Benefit Services? As a New Business Specialist, I check all new applications for accuracy before I send them off to the carriers for processing. I make sure all applications are submitted promptly, monitoring them through the underwriting process to provide a smooth and quick approval time.

What do you like about working at Senior Benefit Services, Inc.? The company culture at Senior Benefit Services is top-notch. I genuinely enjoy the people that I work with and the policies they have in place for their employees. I feel valued and appreciated every single day.

What’s your background? I worked for Greencastle Antrim School District as a classroom teacher for 17 years before retiring early and joining the staff at Senior Benefit Services. I taught grades K, 2^nd, and 3^rd.

What values drive you? I am driven by hard work and integrity.  As a parent, I strive to be a role model for my kids. At work, I pride myself on doing the absolute best job I can to keep my department organized and running smoothly.      

What activities do you enjoy doing when not at work? When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband, two children, and our dogs. I also enjoy cooking, reading, listening to live music, and spending time at the beach.
